Tampa, Fla. – (September 2005) – Lovett Miller & Co. is pleased to announce the promotion of Kevin S. Ooley to Principal.   Since joining the firm in 2001 as Vice President, Mr. Ooley has been responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, making investment recommendations and providing strategic direction to portfolio companies.  Mr. Ooley currently monitors investments in and serves as a board advisor to CareAnyware, Inc., Cypress Care, Inc. and RxStrategies, Inc.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ooley advised Fortune 500 and emerging growth companies by serving as a Director of Strategy for iXL Enterprises and Manager in Accenture.s Strategic Services practice.  .Kevin.s experience in management and technology consulting fits well with Lovett Miller.s strategy to directly assist our portfolio companies in achieving their growth objectives and maximizing shareholder value,. said Scott Miller, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Lovett Miller & Co.   

Mr. Ooley earned a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology where he graduated first in his class and was elected to Tau Beta Pi. Mr. Ooley received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where he graduated as a Fuqua Scholar and was awarded a Fuqua Fellow Scholarship.
